Worldstar Travel, incorporating Guild Travel, is a member of the Travelscene American Express group.

Established in 1979, Worldstar is an independently owned and operated Travel Agency, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our valued travel clients.

Our goal is to ensure our clients come back again and again, satisfied and as a committed Worldstar customer.

In keeping with this commitment, our Managing Director, Victor Bestawros, a travel industry professional for many years, wishes to introduce you to his homeland through a series of specially designed tours with Australians in mind. Born in Egypt and now resident in Australia, he has designed and developed a range of fabulous tours to Egypt. His personal knowledge of this ancient and unique land and his strong understanding of the Australian traveller, ensures the product we deliver to our clients lives up to our vision of providing our customers with the highest quality travel experience.

The company is licensed by the NSW Fair Trading Department to operate as a Travel Agent dealing with all facets of travel. Our License number is 2TA5528.

Staff

All staff members of the agency (except the Director) have obtained their Senior Travel Consultants (STC) certificate from the Australian Travel Agents Qualification Board (ATAQ)

The Director, who has been in the Travel Industry for over 25 years, holds "Certified Travel Manager" certificates issued by AFTA (Australian Federation of Travel Agents).

All members of the staff undertake regular educational trips both overseas and within Australia, attend training seminars as approved by ATAQ to maintain their professional standards, and those handling corporate business have regular update sessions with the various hotels, companies, airlines and car rental companies with whom we have corporate rate arrangements.

The staff have travelled extensively particularly around the South West Pacific, the USA, Europe, Middle East, Japan and South East Asia.

The office is usually attended from 8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
